For customers in recovery, we usually recommend products that aren't trying to mimic the taste or experience of alcohol. We have plenty of spirits and RTDs that are just doing their own thing. In fact, those are some of the most interesting, complex drinks we carry. Everyone's journey is different, so let us know your boundaries and we'll help you work around them.

Products labeled as “<0.5% ABV” have been dealcoholized, which means they once contained alcohol but have had it removed (similar to decaf coffee). Legally, anything under 0.5% ABV qualifies as non-alcoholic. For context, that’s less alcohol than you’d find in a ripe banana, a hamburger bun, or soy sauce.

If you’re looking to avoid even a trace of alcohol, stick with products marked “0.0% ABV.” These were never fermented or brewed with alcohol in the first place. To make it simple, 0.0% products are labeled with a green tag in our shop.

Non-alcoholic drinks go through many of the same production steps as alcoholic ones, or sometimes even more. For example, dealcoholized wine and beer are first brewed or fermented with alcohol, then go through an extra process to remove it. On top of that, many NA brands are small, independent makers using high-quality ingredients and small-batch methods after years of R&D. As the industry grows and evolves, expect to see more options at lower prices.

If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, we’re happy to help you avoid drinks with kava, ashwagandha, or other adaptogens that aren’t recommended during this time. As noted above, some dealcoholized drinks may contain up to 0.5% ABV, which is legally considered non-alcoholic but still contains trace amounts of alcohol. That’s about the same or less than what’s naturally found in ripe bananas or bread.

The effects are subtle and vary from person to person. You won’t feel buzzed, but you might feel a gentle shift depending on the drink and your body’s response. Currently we do not carry any THC beverages.

Yes, yes, and yes! While the popular perception of mocktails is that they're all sweet and sugary, we have plenty of no and low sugar options. One of our founders is vegan and the other is gluten free, so we also have plenty of allergy-friendly snacks (and even a few gluten free NA beers).
